One session takes approximately 90 minutes to complete, and it is divided into two parts:
1. IPL treatment
The first part involves IPL, where a friendly therapist will carefully move a device that resembles a flashgun, over your face and neck to stimulate collagen production and improve the appearance of the skin’s texture by fading out acne scars and reducing enlarged pores. The procedure is surprisingly painless and relaxing.
2. LED treatment
The second part of the treatment involves the use of a LED photomodulation machine, a device that utilises non-thermal red-and-blue light pulses to kill existing acne-causing bacteria deep within the skin, and to stimulate the skin to start healing on its own. By purifying your skin from acne-causing bacteria, you can enjoy a healthier and smoother complexion.

You’ll be able to see an improvement in your skin tone after just one session. Over the course of a series of 6 to 10 sessions, blemish-prone and acne-scarred skin appears smoother, more balanced and more even-toned.
The number of sessions required for each patient will vary depending on the individual’s skin condition.
If you travel frequently and are prone to acne breakouts, you can consider getting one session in pre-travel, as it helps to regulate and control the sebaceous glands which will make you less prone to flare-ups while you’re away.
